Hagamos Eco-Ladrillos

Let's make Eco-Bricks

Caring for the environment is about protecting the planet in which we live: take care of water, recycle paper, plastics, batteries, turn off the light, conserve plants. It is our responsibility as citizens of the world to give everything on our part so that we ourselves and future generations can enjoy health, in an ecosystem suitable for living and that contains the necessary conditions for every human being to develop..

At Burana, we are well aware of this. Our entire team is trained in sustainable, environmental, recycling and waste reuse practices in all our production processes.

One of our practices with the greatest impact is the production of Eco-Bricks. Today we want to share it with you and invite you to make them in your homes, workplaces, etc., and thus continue caring for our beloved Earth together..

¿What is an Eco-Brick?

It is a PET bottle filled under pressure with clean and dry, non-recyclable and non-hazardous waste, which can be used for construction.

¿How to make an Eco-Brick?

STEP 1: Wash and dry your PET bottle very well.

STEP 2: Put only non-recyclable and non-hazardous waste into the bottle, make sure it is clean and dry. You can use any type of non-recyclable plastic as filler. Compact the material well with a stick. IMPORTANT: NEVER USE ORGANIC WASTE OR BATTERIES!!

STEP 3: Once full and with the material inside it well compacted, cover the bottle. To make sure it is well done, try to squeeze it, if the bottle is deformed, you can still introduce more residue inside. The eco-brick must be very hard, if necessary, ask for help.

STEP 4: If you are not collecting eco-bricks for a project of your own, look in the area where you live if a project is being done.
